Departure of Managing Director, Dr Morgan Pillay and Business Development Director, Jill Strelitz.
NURCHA announces the departure of Dr Morgan Pillay who left NURCHA at the end of December 2011 to pursue new career opportunities within the Development Finance Sector.The Board and staff of NURCHA are grateful to Morgan for his leadership and unfailing commitment to the mission of NURCHA. We wish him well in his future endeavours and believe that he will continue to make a meaningful contribution to the development sector.
Mr Viwe Gqwetha (currently Operations Director) has been appointed acting Managing Director.
Jill Strelitz has been with NURCHA as a director for some 17 years and in that time has made a significant contribution to the operational success of NURCHA. She moves on to take up the position of CEO of NewHco, one of the foremost developers of affordable housing in South Africa.NURCHA will miss Jill’s extensive experience in the field of development finance and wishes her well in her new position.
